Main image for post: VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE cARTime DESIGN

To celebrate the opening of cartime’s new specialist 4×4 centre, we ran a competition in conjunction with local primary schools where students decorated a series of specially wrapped 4X4s.

Over 100 budding artists and aspiring designers from Fir Bank Primary, Wesley Methodist Primaryand Hazelhurst Primary were challenged to design a car’s exterior by drawing on full size Range Rovers.

All of the decorated vehicles are now back at the cartime showroom ready to face a public vote to decide the overall winner, who will receive a £500 donation for art supplies for their school.

To vote for your winning design, simply visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cartimebury/and follow the cARTime competition link to cast your vote. The winning design will be the one that receives the most votes.

The voting is now open and and will run until midnight on 21stJuly, with the winning school being announced on Wednesday 24thJuly 2019.

Please do feel free to share the post and encourage more votes for your favourite design.

cartime managing director, Matt Kay said: “Our new specialist 4×4 showroom has recently opened and we wanted to do something memorable in the local community to celebrate our launch.

“We were inspired by the ethos of Children’s Art Week, which encourages children and young people to enjoy fun creative activities that they might not have tried before. We certainly hope none of the participants have ever drawn on a car’s exterior before!

“All of the entries into our cARTime competition look fantastic – and the vehicles certainly raised some eye brows as were driven through the streets of Bury on their way back to us!

“I’d like to thank the schools and students for taking part, and wish them luck in the competition. We hope the winning school will put the £500 prize towards lots more art equipment to support children in their future art and design activities.”
