cartime’s Managing Director, Matt Kay, was on hand this morning to help raise awareness of the local charity, Cash for Kids.

Radio presenters, Mike Toolan, Matt Haslam and TV favourite, Gemma Atkinson, joined forces to spread the word and draw attention to the very deserving cause.

Cash for Kids is Key 103's official charity and, as part of their Mission Christmas Campaign, the Manchester-based radio station are collecting new toys and generous donations for less fortunate children in the run-up to Christmas.

As in previous years, cartime are eager to help. We always enjoy acting as a drop-off point and collecting any donated toys from visitors to our showroom in Bury.

This year we’re also providing Key 103 with two cars to use when delivering the toys and gifts to the children - their very own Santa's sleighs!

MD, Matt Kay explained, “We’ve supported Cash for Kids for several years now. It’s such a worthwhile cause, we hope that this morning helped raise awareness further.”

He continued, “It’s heart-breaking to think that some children don’t wake up to any presents on Christmas day. Cash for Kids hopes to change that.”

Anyone can get involved, people can either donate gifts, for children of all ages, or help raise money for the charity.

As well as supporting with gifts, our mascot, cartime Tim and MD also have a couple of unique fund raising ideas for the charity. Watch this space… we’re really looking forward to a couple of them.

In the meantime, if you would like to support Cash for Kids, in any way, please do! Come down to our showroom drop off point and leave a present and we’ll make sure that its delivered. Alternatively, you can donate by texting KEY to 70808 to give £5. For more information or to help further click here.
