cartime is a prestige, independent used car supermarket that was founded in 2012 and was awarded as the UK Car Supermarket of the Year for two years running.
With showrooms in Bury and Rochdale in Greater Manchester, all of our cars are prepared to standard based on the car’s age and mileage, alongside other great benefits such as 0% finance and our fantastic six year warranty package available across all stock.
We have over 1,000 vehicles available, from MPVs, 4x4s and supercars to family saloons, cars for first time buyers and high performance sports models.
Open seven days a week, we are conveniently located close to Manchester City Centre and the M60 ring road.

Established in 2012, cartime is now one of the North West’s largest and fastest growing independent used car supermarkets.

The UK Car Supermarket of the Year for two years running, we help customers all over the UK find their dream car from our wide selection of prestige used vehicles and offer a better than new six-year warranty package for added peace of mind. Offering vehicles that are prepared to standard based on the car’s age and mileage, we also offer 0% finance, part exchange, refer a friend schemes, 100-mile radius price checking and a 30-day feedback policy.

As well as our original cartime used car sales centre on Bell Lane in Bury, we have a specialist used 4 x 4 centre in Bury, which is the largest in Greater Manchester, and a state-of-the-art used car dealership in Rochdale. All of our stock is also listed on our website with comprehensive photography and videos showing vehicles in close detail.

The business is owned and run by Matt Kay whose vision is to build cartime into one of the largest car supermarkets in the country in the next two years. Continued success has led to year-on-year growth and we now stock more than 1000 used vehicles across our three sites. Expansion into new areas is also planned for the future.

Our founding principals, which remain today, have always been to provide customers with a new way to buy a used car, offering carefully prepared prestige used vehicles and an industry-leading warranty package.

Matt personally oversees that we stock the right vehicles at the right prices, taking colour, mileage and specification into careful consideration. We also use the latest price check technology and a have a highly experienced team to ensure customers receive the best experience possible. We Handpick Our Cars

Every car available has been handpicked, taking colour, mileage, condition and specification into consideration. This allows us to provide the best prices and quality vehicles to all of our customers.

Mechanical Checks on All Vehicles

A mechanical 62-point check is undertaken on all cars, in combination with an extensive grading system. Any car that fails to achieve a cartime high quality grade is taken off stock and outed to auction.

Cars Supplied in Showroom Condition

All of our cars go through a health check and cosmetic preparation process to ensure they are of the highest standard when you drive away.

Industry-leading Warranty Package

We are proud to offer our famous six-year warranty package, which includes six years’ MOT, servicing and guarantee. This is way above the industry average for a new or used car.

We take up to 60 photographs of each car to place online and give full appreciation of a car’s interior and exterior, with videos and 360-degree simulators available. Test drives can be booked online, and you can even reserve your car directly through our website.
